LTS HORSE SHOWS

Here at LTS we attend 1-2 horse shows a month. We also attend all the Scholastic Equestrian League horse shows. The Scolastic Equestrian League is where riders compete as a team for their School. This is offered to grades 7-12. The Scholastic show season runs from January thru May.

If you would like to attend a show with us please let Bree know by emailing or calling. 

Is it your first time showing? No problem! Follow these simple steps below:

1. Let us know you want to be in the show!! :-) 

2. Make sure if you are riding a lesson horse, that the specific horse is available for the horse show that weekend.

3. Make sure you have the appropriate attire.

     - Black show quality approved helmet. I reccomend the IRH XR9 in all black. These are reasonably priced.

     - Black Gloves

     - Tan only Riding Breeches

     - Navy Blue Hunt Coat

     - Ratcatcher Riding shirt White is best colors are OK

     - Black Boots (Tall Boots required for riders over 12)

     - Hair net ( hair must be tucked under your helmet)

     - Belt

4. Find out what riding division you will be showing in. If you are showing you MUST take at least three back to back lessons before the show.

5. Pay day fees and trailering BEFORE the show. Please fill out your entry form and pay invoice BEFORE the show. Your entry form and invoice will be in the office. Check the Services page for rates.

Horse Show Results:

Vista Palomar Riders:

Congrats to all who showed at Vista Palomar riders! 

Katja did awesome in the walk trot on Lacey! She earned Reserve Champion on Saturday and Champion on Sunday with a FIRST place and SECOND place!

Audrey was amazing in the walk trot and her FIRST horse show on Chancey! She earned a third place! Way to go!

Emma WON her Crossrail medal class and got first place in the crossrails on Cassie! AWESOME for her first horse show!

Elaine received a first place in Equitation on the Flat on Levi and a first place in the 2'6 jumpers on Lo La!

Maddie got first place in her first walk, trot, canter classes on her pony Chancey! Good job!

SCEC Show:

Emily had an AWESOME first horse show on Cassie. She competed in the Short Stirrup Division earning herself LOTS of ribbons. She even got a 2nd and 3rd place! What a great first horse show

Heather also had an AWESOME first horse show on Cassie. She got a first place and Reserve Champion!

Natalie and Galliard Dominated the Equitation Ring with blue ribbons! Good riding!

Kathy and Reef Point were Beautiful in the hunters. They recieved 1st place and RESERVE champoin!

Amanda and Monico did GREAT in the jumper ring! The team earned themselvs a 2nd place and had lots of clean rounds throughout the weekend!

TURKEY SHOW @ Santa Barbara

Congratulations to Natalie and Galliard on your Champion and ALL your Blue ribbons! You did really well in the jumpers getting all your inside turns, and you rode BEAUTIFULLY in the Equitation ring! You and Stormy are really a match made in heaven!

Upon Request and Bree has a very successful week! Taking home a 1st place and a reserve Champion they were very happy! Lo La will now be competing in the 3'6 jumpers. They are excited for the upcoming show season!

Great Riding to Sheryl and My Size Breyer. They took home a first and lots of 2nds, 3rds, and 4ths in the hunters, jumpers, and equitation ring!

Great show for Devin and El Devino. They had a few Double Clean rounds in the 1.20 jumpers! Good job!

Lani rode Lord Rudi really nicely in the jumpers taking home a few ribbons! Lanis rounds are very consistent and smooth! Way to go!
